Custom Kitchen Design - A peek inside a unique customer kitchen.

When Donna and Barry came into Kube kitchens, they had some particular challenges that were unique to their situation. The dimensions of their new extension included angles and level changes that would need to be taken into consideration when planning their new kitchen design. They required a designer who could understand their needs and fit in everything they wanted. They met Aiden in Kube, fell in love with the Dekton Trilium worktop, and began their kitchen design process. Kube Custom Kitchen Design

“After speaking to a few kitchen suppliers, we were advised by a friend to check out Kube. Within five minutes of entering the showroom and speaking with one of their kitchen designers, Aidan, we knew we had found the perfect company/person for us. We fell in love with some of the styles in the showroom, and most importantly, we found the worktop of our dreams.“ Kube Custom Kitchen Design

Dekton Trilium is a beautiful quartz work surface with an industrial flair. Its looks are quite striking, especially when juxtaposed against the sleek, pragmatic aesthetics of modern appliances or decorative organic elements.

They decided on the Kube Feel kitchen in Sahara Soft Matt paired with a Metal door in Grey Steel on the island and side units which perfectly compliments the Dekton Trilium worktop. The island design included two surface levels that taper at the hob end to follow the unique line of the new extension. As a feature, we added book matched mitred gables at both ends. At the narrower end, a custom-designed bookcase in matching Kube Metal cladding completes the design.

“The level of care and attention to detail provided by Aidan was nothing short of top class. We provided him with our wish list, and he ticked every box and more. Aidan kept on top of any minor issues or changes with great precision, timing and efficiency (not that there were too many!). The quality of installation and after-sales service has also been hugely impressive.”

Now that the more prominent aspects of the design were coming into place, it was time to look at the finishing touches that can make all the difference. For the sink, they selected a Quooker instant boiling water tap. The extractor fan was designed to mount flush to the ceiling blending seamlessly into the dropped ceiling. The finished product is a kitchen that will function ideally in their household for a long time to come.

“The reaction of visitors to our home upon seeing our kitchen says it all, from the initial jaw-drop to the barrage of compliments that follow. We have ended up with our dream kitchen, provided by our dream designer.“ - Donna & Barry, Dublin.
