Where old meets new – Kitchen Design in Kildare
This kitchen design from Kube Long Mile Road, brings contemporary lines and rich tones to a space that is already quite complex. Existing ceiling beams, brick and rustic flooring as well as a staircase to the bedroom level meant that whatever we did needed to respect all of those materials and still hold it’s own. With the client, Ruth chose a combination of warm Sand with our new Milano Walnut which brings stunning warm tones into the space. A transition in flooring and ceiling level is handled elegantly with a floating drawer cabinet, lit from below which softens the threshold between living and kitchen. Even laundry is accommodated in the cabinetry tucked in under the stairs.
