Brief: Mr and Mrs McCarthy were extending their living space and required a new kitchen. Their current kitchen was traditional. Inspired by the design ideas they saw on Houzz, they wanted a more contemporary look but needed some help to make the vision a reality.
Design: Due to the size of the room, an extra-large island incorporating family dining was required. In order to achieve this, the design incorporated a split level island with a Silestone Blanco Zeus worktop which helped to define the kitchen and dining areas. Mr and Mrs McCarthy wanted to keep the Aga from their old kitchen and use it to create a feature in the room.
The appliances are Siemens and the extractor is a down-draft model, which means it is hidden in the island when not in use. The look is completed with aquamarine stools from Calligaris, also available at Kube.
Brief: Aisling and David wanted a modern and bright kitchen in their brand new house extension.
Design:The final kitchen design is definitely a show stopper. The extension has a huge glass wall on one side allowing natural light shine on the bright and contemporary Kube kitchen. The white Corian worktops are a key feature on the unique island and teamed with the dark oak, the kitchen is truly individual - perfect for family living or entertaining alike.
